True Function Diagnostic

Every organization has two versions of how work gets done:

  • Work-as-imagined: what procedures, dashboards, and vendors say happens.
  • Work-as-done: what actually happens.

We buy AI for the first version, but we force it to work in the second. That gap can hide conditions the design must address before deployment.

This tool runs the deposited nine-question True Function Test on a single workflow. It records which answers rest on work-as-imagined, which carry work-as-done evidence, and which remain unknown. It points to where the five hazards of AI-enabled work can enter. A workflow has True Function only when it delivers what it promises in the real world.

Based on HAOP Revision 6.0.1, Section XI · DOI 10.5281/zenodo.22072938

The reads below are an initial diagnostic. They do not provide a maturity score, guarantee a workflow is safe, or replace the complete ten-step HAOP method.

Your answers are saved on the computer or phone you are using, inside this browser, and nowhere else. No server receives them. Come back in the same browser and your record is here; clear the browser's data and it is gone. When you finish, you can print the record, save it as a PDF, or download it as a text file. Nothing is sent unless you choose to share the finished record; shared records go to connect@haop.ai and nowhere else.
